The Data We Need: Enabling Climate Solutions

If we want to change our systems, we have to be able to see and understand them in all their complexity. We need the right data, and we need as much of it as is humanly and technologically possible. When it comes to climate change, a lot of this data is either obscure or missing. Issues of accessibility, traceability and, ultimately, accountability, make the process of gathering and disseminating climate data a lot harder than it should be. What can be done to speed up the process? What tools — technology-related or otherwise — can we employ? And how will these tools drive bolder and faster decision-making?
